That's enough, had to turn it off - getting walloped. And then just before I called it quits, Gossage comes on and tells us how the Scorchers fans are absolutely loving it - watching Lynn flog the guts out of us. FFS, I always thought he was a flog, but I was wrong - he's a dead set effin idiot. He probably thinks the Eagles fans admired the way that the Hawks dismantled us in the GF a couple of years ago. Good God, WA has the world record for producing the biggest floggers in our media!!

Gee's shark you are very hard to please even a one eyed West Aussie like me thought that was absolutely scintillating clean hitting by Chris Lynn ...he even made Brendon McCullum the holder of the quickest hundred in Test history look pedestrian in comparison.

Cheers BH for giving me a heads up about this thread ;) ......Grassy, pretty sure Symonds mentioned during the match Lynn had a cortisone jab to his shoulder a few days ago.....so the only smokescreen there was that the Scorcher attack got well n truly smoked by Lynn's bat....would love to see him bat 3 in the Aust T20....bat 4/5 in the Aus ODI and then get a go v Eng in the Ashes tests next year....he averages mid 40's in FC for Qld.....the India tests are too soon no doubt....but hey why not?

Great entertainment but our performance with the ball was awful. You can't bowl a good first class length to these players.

Lynn made Mccullum look pedestrian, his power was unbelievable. As you said Larry only Tye had any real idea about how to bowl to him and even he went for a few. I thought Turner may have been worth another few overs in the middle, at least then you are making Lynn create all the power.

I thought it was impressive hitting myself. Yes it sucks to loose every game, but when you see the game played like it was last night it was impressive hitting. It seems he can pick the slower ball and like they said last night he stays still so he sees it so well

I was actually hoping he would get a ton, but I have to agree with the comment from Gossage. he was carrying on about how the crowd was loving it, while the cameras were panning the crowds and people were leaving.

It might be the kick in the pants the scorchers need.

Young Richardson learnt that your slower ball can't be 40 clicks slower than your stock ball. Even Willie went away from his game plan and dropped too short on leg stump down breeze.

I stand by what I say. I can't watch a team get annihilated like that. I've watched Sharks games and Eagles games where they have totally devastated the opposition and lost interest....unless we're flogging Freo of course :P
