After that? Well, he had a lot of luck. Kennedy failled to make certain that the Bay of Pigs was a success. He conned Kruschev into interferring in the Western Hemisphere which nearly caused a nuclear war; he survived only because of Soviet economic aid and the Americans promised Moscow they would not invade him in return for withdrawing their missiles; since then he has survived on anti-American ideology, the poverty of his people and a little bit of help from Canada and Western Europe.

The funniest part about it, is that, his mere existence, given Obama's perceived 'weak policy' on Cuba, made certain that most Cubans in Florida supportted Trump, getting him over the line in that very important state.
