I'm really struggling to understand what this is all about. A kid dresses up as his hero...why the f*#k wouldn't he paint his face because last time I saw Nic Nat he WAS black. If Nic Nat or any other player for that matter dyed his hair green why wouldn't a kid do likewise if he was trying to emulate and look like his favourite player? I'm hoping someone on here can make some sense of all this coz I sure can't.

As a white person I feel I have no right to any opinion on what a black person may find offensive. But historically "Black Face" as it's known has dark racist connotations.

Nicnat wasn't even offended by it until some one told him he should be.

That's exactly how I see the issue, talk about a beat up.

BTW If a black kid saw me as a hero and wanted to dress up like me ( not that it would happen) I would take no offence to him putting a clown style white face on...

on the money Bazza...if it was done to insult or denigrate Nic Nat then that would be entirely different but to me it was more a compliment that he idolised the human dunny brush.
