It was bad enough that MT called a pointless expensive RC based on a knee jerk emotive reaction to a TV doco, but then he goes and picks someone who bails out and then appoints someone like Gooda who will be about as impartial as a Collingwood cheer squad member sitting on the tribunal for the Collingwood player.

How much will they waste on this BS, 10 - 20 Million , that money would of been better spent on youth education that might keep people out of jail and into a job.

Bazza isn't it amazing that the media have sat on their left wing hands and not got stuck into Gooda for his comments that the NT govt should be sacked before 1 seconds evidence has been heard. It shows a clear case of pre-conception and bias before he takes his seat. He should have been dismissed immediately ..... no hangon we cant do that because of his ........

His display of bias which he blamed on emotion (do we want an irrational emotional plonker co-chairing a RC?) was far worse than the tenuous family and work history issues for the bloke who was hounded out of the job by the indigenous left wing lobby.

and to think, all Turnbull had to do was refer the media to the NT police or the relevant minister in the NT when asked about it. He is actually interferring in the self-government of a territory, something which should never be done lightly.

They have an NT Custodial Ombudsman all he needed to do was refer the issue them, would of saved us the farce and all the money.
