I noticed that both France and Spain have put the Scottish Nationalists back in their place which has to be a good thing for the rule of law in the UK and globally. The party has refussed to accept the results of two referenda in two years, which is audacious, to say the least. Just for the record too, 2 million Scots votted to remain with the UK in 2014, only 1.5 million votted to remain in the EU last Thursday.

Britexit and Trump's recent victory should work in nicely particularly on the question on trade. I am glad, not only because I was a Euroscppetic long before dear old Boris decided he wanted to destroy Cameron, rather, one's position also had its origins in Obama's antics during his last visit to Britain. The man simply did not play fair by intervening in that referendum campaign, even if it was at the behest of Cameron.

I see our little friend from Communist East Germany, Angela Merkel, has finally agreed to turn back boats on the Mediterranean. The immigrants will be rescued taken to Tunisia and other countries to be processed as refugees and then distributted around the EU in quotas. If only the woman had not over-reactted to the death of that poor child on the Turkish beach, she would still have her iron grip on Germany. Now, she is faced with the prospect of being ousted by a grand coalition of the left: the Social Democrats, Greens and Left party -- old East German Communists. It should be great fun for the German people.

The last twenty five years in Germany has been a disaster startting with the unification of the country on the basis of swapping DM for East German marks on a one to one basis; the German economy has never recoverred.

As for Merkel, she should have resigned a few years ago when the German High Court found her guilty of breaking the country's Basic Law. Completelly over-ridding parliament, she promised the Greeks monies for the bail out without first seeking a vote in the Budestag. She not only survived, but has since won another election, so the Germans have only themselves to blame for the present state of affairs.

Yep - Hey BC have you noticed since the Green Numpties gave her the flick from the Immigration/Refugee port folio she has basically disappeared..not that that is a bad thing but its kind of odd. talking Greens they seem to be sliding away, Natale was supposed to be a PR man to bring them right back but they performed poorly at the last Fed Election and are not gaining much traction.

yep...funny that Baz...I wonder why they moved her on? maybe she was getting too much air time in the immigration role and Di Natale and co were a bit miffed they weren't getting their messages through. who knows and who cares?...the Greens are irrelevant these days anyway.
