Just how gullible or stupid does Emperor Barnett think the people of Ellenbrook are? After promising two rail lines to Ellenbrook and a bus rapid transit (BRT)system for Ellenbrook according to today's Sunday Times Emperor Barnett and his acolyte Nalder have promised a revised BRT.

The ALP should get permission to have a copy of Smithy on Sunday (page 44) at every polling booth in the electorates around Ellenbrook and perhaps everywhere in WA. It speaks volumes about the broken promises of Emperor Barnett and his government.

My question Swan42 is from my memory he cried lack of money when he broke the original promises, so now that the state is now an a far worse position financially than it was then, how will he be able to afford it this time? Pork barrelling at its best. Like handing out tax cuts the day before an election.

I think the best thing is the fact that Barnett knows he will be voted out with likely the worst ever result in history - hence the desperate measures on lost causes

The irony of this is that if the ALP use it correctly it will be like an albatross around his neck as it will be a damning indictment on the MANY, MANY promises that he has broken. I don't think Frank Alban will appreciated having all his electorate reminded of the broken promises regarding a train and bus service to that area every day for the 9 months.

One can only hope that we do get a Labor Government that will over a period of the next decade or so an integrated train and bus public transport that will cater for the projected population increase for Perth.

Only grassy could turn a post about a bus system to ellenbrook into a post about the city of perth act.
