I like that DD. I have often been asked if I was Luigi. Claude [Luigi] is a mad East Fremantle supporter and we used to meet up when we played The Sharks. He lived in Wilson for many years and now has retired in Mandurah.

Westfarmers did this to Master dairy and WA Salvage where I spent twenty six years. JAY CAR is what Dick Smith should of been. Kodak was another company that lost its way but they survived.

Perhaps Kodak a bit different in that they had first dibs on digital technology for photos etc etc, and said nahhhh it will never work!!, as they say the rest is history

None of those as big as Dick Smith though. This has triggered the possibility of an official enquiry I heard late today on the radio news

Who does own 9 now.Ever since Packer Mk III left,7 really took control of the TV Ratings War and have been on top for years.I stopped looking at those figures in the Media section,as I became physically and mentally Sick, looking at the Top 10 Rated programs, more or less came from 7,with programs I wouldn't give time of day to,but the kids seem to love it.

Just recently,9's made a bit of a comeback, winning the SYDNEY and MELBOURNE 6PM Ratings slot and 10 would probably have The Project and maybe even Neighbors rate their socks off.Maybe that's why 7 are flogging the opening of Home and Away like never before, with their own version of Who a Shot Burns.

I think 7 are still winning overall but they aren't getting things all their own way, after recent years of Dominance in Television.

Are you on the right thread? Wtf has this got to do with Dick Smith.
