I reckon it's time to bring back Ryan Crowley. Fremantle are missing that bit of mongrel that is prepared to sacrifice his game to get under the skin of his opponent. He might even cause them to retaliate and cop a suspension. Players like Harvey have been getting off the chain and hurting us. Bring him in Ross.

I reckon Suban has already done that DD, just maybe not to the same extreme as Crowley, clearly Masten fell for it.

In my opinion Hodge should have received at least a 6 week suspension going down to 5 weeks for an early guilty plea.

A/man I don't know whether you have Foxtel. If you do how would you rate G Whately's opinions of the N Fyfe decision and the Hodge decision?

On Monday he was in danger of getting splinters sitting on the fence. Today it seemed he had got off the fence onto the side of a suspension for Fyfe. He certainly thought that the Hodge was careless rather than intentional. Tje mind boggled on how flexible G Whately can be when it comes to Victoria.

A group paid out on Fyfe before the half way mark of the season and the press picked up on it. Since then I think Fyfe has been put under more scrutiny than he deserves.
I think the AFL have a lot to answer for in regards to the pressure being put on players from the betting groups.
I am sure that Hodge got off lightly and I thought that Fyfe would be suspended as well.
Maybe the fact that Nathan Bourke said he would get off on radio helped Fyfe. Bourke stood down from the tribunal.

Anchor, I was listening to Bourke on the radio and was stunned by his commentary on both issues seeing he is on the tribunal, he pre-empted any decisions by giving his view on possible penalties, guilt or innocence and rightly stood down.
In the end the main thing is that Fyfe had no case to answer and Hodge got off a week light imho, but that will always happen to high profile players from high profile clubs so close to finals.
