Day 1 of the shield game v tas had 800 there, day 2 had 750.

All would have been members. Maybe 20 joe public going through the gates. Of them maybe 10 after tea for free. So they may have got $100 from 10 customers for the day and paid 2-3 people $15 an hr to sit on their arse in case someone comes in for 7 hrs.

So they lose money??

I bet they get thousands thru the gates. I think the Waca whilst being iconic of sorts, isn't cutting it much these days for the average joe. Playing some games at boutique grounds is the go.
