Interesting a report on the ABC News tonight which suggested that the State Government will be touting the support of FIFO for the proposed Perth train line to the airport.

Unfortunately, the FIFO workers will not be able to use the line as the trains won't be running early enough for them to use them.

Another example of an incompetent government which has broken so many promises. The same government which managed to lose the State's AAA credit rating during a mining boom. The same government that has broken at LEAST THREE promises to the people living in Ellenbrook about building a train line.

Now we also have the local member for Belmont, Glenys Godfrey - a former mayor of Belmont, who has been singularly silent on local government FORCED mergers and the possible closing down of Ascot Racecourse and the selling of the WA TAB.

Since when has the ABC got the train time tables 10 years in advance,,what a bloody bollocks story,,train time tables are constantly evolving I imagine in years to come a train line will be 24 hrs to the airport,

Thanks for the sarcasm BC; however, it is not the train line to the airport which is the only one to consider,it is also the other train lines that a person may need to use to connect with the airport train. Similarly, the bus services which a person may need to catch prior to catching the airport train.

Also, for your comment BC is the belief by the WA Government that a completely underground line will be a comparable cost to having most of it above ground. Cost benefit analysis anyone.

Swan I believe they will be using the same consultants that fed labour used for the NBN CBA.
