Liked the Announcement by Liberals today 4.3 Billion being taken out of the Foreign aid package (Hopefully that hits Indonesia as they are taking us for fools) and then again did you watch the interview with the guy from New Guinea re half our aid going into pollies pockets there and they are buying properties in Cairns etc.. God knows how much of our foreign aid gets put in to corrupt governments pockets..

When I was in Vietnam on holiday they had a bridge called the FREEDOM bridge that was paid for at huge cost by Australia.. Surprise surprise down the river a bit further they were building another one...
Yet Vietnam just came out and said they are spending Millions on Aircraft from Russia!!!!! Hmm makes you think.

The money is going to be used for Infrastructure (e.g roads etc) in Australia... How good is that we are looking after ourselves for a change. Brilliant to see OUR TAX MONEY being used in Australia..

Personally i can wait till the year 2525 when Rudds very fast interstate train system, and the moving of the navy operations from NSW to Qld, oh hold on thats a gazillion years away.

As Michelle Grattan said in her article in the SMH - Abbott out foxed Rudd once again - after waiting and hoping for a grabb on it - the cuts where all vote grabbers not takers,,,labor fell flat and hollow,

I loved the $42 Million cut from the Aboriginal Legal Service, biggest waste of money out.

couldn't agree more with the cut to foreign aid....on one hand we're borrowing from overseas to pay the interest on our national debt and on the other we're giving it away to other countries...where's the sense in that?

Cardy did you forget to mention the money he is going to cut from rail programmes in WA?
