The Australian government paid a 800 million deposit, this morning.
As a part of the ARKUS Nuclear Submarine deal.The total cost of the 8 Nuclear powered Subs is 64.8 Billion US.
Australia will receive two Virginia Class Subs of the United States Navy.
The remaining 6 Nuclear Subs will be manufactured in Adelaide.With the help of the British Royal Navy.Who will oversee the construction on our behalf.All the component's will come from the United States.
President Trump has made no public statements on the Arkus deal.Perhaps because it was a deal brokered by the Biden Administration.
Media reports this morning say that President Trump likes the deal.That puts Australia in President Trumps good book.

About half of the 25% they import is from Canada and Mexico.The rest comes from Germany, Japan,South Korea,Australia.Brazil.
So its really President Trump blowing some hot wind, imo.
China has never sold Steele into the USA.
