Well sounds like the Senator for Palestine is about to quit and go independent, this is someone who got her Senate seat with 1200 primary votes thanks to ALP diversity preselection.

Can't blame her as all of them are doing this. She is claiming $310 per night living away from home allowance to live with in her own $450,000 investment property. Obviously previous pollies have made this possible. Disgusting, as if they don't get enough perks as it is.

And she is only copying what many before her have done. The pm himself used to do it. Over a 5 day week is equal to 1550 $. So if her mortgage is for example 3 thousand/ month, it is quite a lucrative lurk. She will not be quitting parliament anytime soon.
 

Well well well...turns out the former ALP Senator was not eligible in any case she is an Afghan Citizen still.
