I think this brave young mother has just signed her own death certificate. 40 year old single mother and journalist Ekaterina Duntsova says she wants to challenge Putin at the next election and end the war in Ukraine and wants Russia to be a thriving democratic and thriving state. Well done young lady you are very very brave. The rest of the world is depending on you.

Would be terrible to hear about her having an ""accident"" , like has happened with too many other people over there!

Unfortunately the old Commi's will ensure she doesn't get very far but it's the younger generation Russians that want a better future for themselves and Russia that need to drive change.

Apparently Duntsova has been barred from running against old Putin in their twenty twenty four election. She has made "mistakes" in the application to register as a candidate. Or it could have been a Kremlin hatched plan to give the illusion of competition. And with Navalny still missing and no-one knowing his whereabouts, the election will only have one result.

Russia has allways been a country run by brutal dictators.
Going right back to Catherine  the Great..Stalin the greatest mass murderer in history.

his enemies will eventually get enough numbers
and the oligarchs' will be present
couldn't be an election anyway the result would be embarassing
 

Navalny has been found after going missing for several weeks. Inside a penal colony within the arctic circle in the north of Russia. His previous 2 court hearings failed to proceed and apparently his next appearance in court due in January. Going by news reports he's staring at a prison sentence of over 30 years for the trumped up charges.

Another of Putin's challengers has died! Alexei Navalny has apparently passed away today. Apparently feeling unwell after going for a walk around the prison. Ambulance was called but could not be revived according to the news report.

The guy was a naive idiot. Was poisoned, rescued and taken to Germany where they brought him back from his deathbed. Could have been granted asylum in Germany but no, goes back to Russia and immediately gets arrested. The German hospital that saved his life should send the bill for his medication and treatment to his widow.

Putin is a modern-day Hitler with all the hallmarks - dictator that murders and removes any opposition, has fascists thugs running around arresting old ladies with flowers by the memorial. Has the entire place under a KGB style reign of terror. A sick and dangerous country.
