I couldn’t stand this prick. Sits in a fkn board room and makes decisions that severely impacts lives one minute telling everyone I don’t see interest rates rises until at least 2024 then later says sorry you all believed me and acted on that. Totally out of touch with society and a compassion less prick.

Of course there was going to be inflation coming out of Covid. No need to overreact and put the brakes on spending in my opinion but what would I know I’m just a pleb that only went to trade school.

The new chick was deputy dawg under Lowe but if she has read the room she’ll be putting the brakes on interest rate rises and consider going the other way and drop it back a bit. The problem is we know what happens when the Reserve increases and drops rates. The asshole banks pass on the full increase but often don’t pass on the full amount when the Reserve drops interest rates.

Hopefully Michele wants to ease the repayments on her extensive property portfolio.

He was a complete dud, left it far to long to start raising rates, they cranked them up it some mad capped record speed to make up time, after telling the whole place nothing until 2024, I was on fixed and came off only to wear his economic masterplan.

The new bird will be worse apparently she is more obsessed with inflation, and is multi millionaire anyway who doesn't care.

Lowe life went too low in the first place placing every Australian home owner or potential home owner into a false economy level of comfort. Then tells them you can sit back and enjoy this for another couple of years before we might see interest rates rise.

Blind Freddy could see there was going to be a spending boom and rise in costs coming out to Covid and the flood disasters in the east wiping out so many manufacturing businesses and crops. Philip Slow was slow out of the blocks, asleep at the wheel then as you said hit the panic button to try to make up for his previous two fuck ups. Sending rates too low then telling everyone I can’t see rates rising until 2024.

I don't think it matters who is in that position? None of them seem to grasp what the ordinary person is feeling. The incoming governer is more interested in her portfolio apparently. The federal govt wanted lowe out of the top job for some reason and his contract was not extended. Probably trying to give the reserve bank a better look because currently it's fairly unpopular.
