Sad to hear the passing of ABC radio stalwart Russell Woolf at just 57, one of the best broadcasters on the ABC, much loved by all who came in contact with him. Great footy man as well, loved his beloved EPFC and the Eagles.

Thought I was hearing things when listening to the news earlier in the day! One of those people with a good sense of humour and all round good guy.  I remember when he presented the tv weather some time ago.
Apparently dying in his sleep.
Feeling speechless at the moment.

Always a pleasure to listen to Rusty, a great media personality.  At 57, he should have had more.

Personaly couldnt hack his style on the radio or as weatherman, ABC never really made up for the loss of Cameron, but quite a shock never the less.

I found your original post lacked much empathy Bazza. If you didn’t like the mans journalism perhaps out of respect just let that slide under the circumstances. Agree with you on the despicable anti Vax rubbish.
