Our one and only AFL GF in Perth and so called Festival Of Football is rapidly shrinking with the parade canned already for "security reasons".

They've got to be joking!!!...with Dear Leader running the show, no-one can get in or out of the Hermit Kingdom so if there's a security threat it's here already. Shit, I hope McGoo doesn't read this as he'll put us all in lockdown in two seconds flat if there's a chance of a security threat.

Poor old Mcgoon and Crooked have no choice but to use the super lockdown option, they have painted themselves into a health disaster corner by ignoring the state of the health system for their entire 4++ year term in office. We are all aware of the disasterous ambo ramping that is now several times worse than what Crooked called an extreme emergency situation, so any small outbreak of this Delta Covid will instantly overload the health system. Due to this governments inaction on health despite sitting on a massive budget surplus, we are all faced with no other option but lockdowns, and relying on lazy selfish idiots who wont get off their pathetic loser arses to get out and get vaxed. The wife and I get our 2nd AZ this Saturday.
On another note, i spoke with my Super agent yesterday who's partner is a qualified nurse, currently working in aged care but busting a gut to get into a major hospital. She has applied several times but has had no reply. Mcgoon and Crooked would rather big note it by spending huge sums of our money in incentives to bring over foreign nurses FMD these blokes have no idea!!

Not sure what the big issue is!!! Fairly certain the Wafl do not entertain a Grand Final parade either? Years ago the teams would participate in such events. The whole thing been canned completely in recent years as far as I'm aware. And no-one complains the Wafl not holding any kind of recognition for the Grand finalists. Not sure what happens in Adelaide regarding their parade for the SANFL?

The AFL’s reasons are Covid and security, but I have to wonder if the GF was in Melbourne, would they have cancelled it?

Maybe the couple of fuckwits who have cleaned up pedestrians recently has something to do with it? Most recent the meth/coke fuelled 61 year old who was out on bail and about a month before that. He killed an innocent bystander on Pier st having alfresco dining.

And I witnessed the aftermath of the idiot who deliberately mounted the footpath on Barrack st one Saturday night to clean up 4 people he had an altercation with moments earlier.

Perth isn't as innocent as some of you think. How many Sri Lankans, Afgani's, Iranians etc.... do we have here just waiting for an opportunity?

That big bust several years ago in Melbourne and Sydney there was evidence the AFL GF was at least discussed as a target of these terrorists.

Well now the AFL are saying it's due to the risk of a Covid outbreak. Just curious, was there an AFL GF parade in Brisbane last year?
