With both Hassa Mann and Brian Peake's induction into the AFL's Australian Rules Hall of Fame last night, Ron has posted two articles on these players who played in both South Fremantle and East Fremantle respectively.

That's 2 out of the 6 players inducted last night to have played in the old WAFL system down at the harbour town.

It is good that a long overlooked player has been added to the Hall of Fame. What we now need to do is get the imbalance corrected between the number of VFL/AFL Legends and those who played their entire career in the WANFL/WAFL and SANFL competitons. One legend only with no association with the VFL/AFL. Remarkable since both competitions pre-date the VFL.
