Apparently the state run Perth Theatre Trust has cancelled or denied a Taiwan and Tibetan theatre and dance groups to perform here in Western Australia for fear of offending the Chinese Communist Party. And the Perth Theatre Trust has apologised to China for allowing one of these events to go ahead in the past. You must be fucken joking?

What I don't take seriously is the feigned and selective outrage expressed in a plethora of threads on this site criticising the WA Labor government.  The born to rule mentality of those who support the LNP underpins the vast majority of the critical posts in those threads.

Why hasn't there been a multitude of threads created that criticise the LNP federal government's handling of the COVID-19 vaccine programme and the NSW's inept handling of the latest delta variant outbreak in that state that is now spreading in other states?  Why hasn't there been a topic created criticising the favouring of NSW in financial support compared to what the federal government did for Victoria and Victorians previously?

Swan, all other issues aside for a moment, do you agree with the theatre trusts position in banning these two groups from performing, due to some sort of perceived Chinese angst?

Yep sharkie, Liam Bartlett played some audio from Ben Fordham on his breakfast show on Sydney radio. Spoke about the Christian group being knocked back , the Taiwan and Tibetan entertainers being denied and wait for this one………. anyone who speaks out against the WA government. Fordham labelled McGowan China’s lapdog. They think he’s a joke over there.
