Who owned The Sunday Times before Murdoch Press? Perth Now used to cover WAFL but that vanished as soon as Stokes bought the Sunday Times off Murdoch and 7West Media turned Perth Now into what most people refer to as tabloid.

It is light on local news then quickly turns to smutt. WA Today used to cover WAFL but they stopped doing that a few years ago.

Stokes must be hemorrhaging money in his media empire and showing his desperation. Sadly there is no competition and none in sight.

Can you imagine if Twiggy Forrest ventured into news media you can just imagine how heavily biased that would be towards China and any left wing cause his daughter Grace wants to champion while at the same time ignoring the human rights abuses in China and Hong Kong. I wonder why?

Perhaps the Holmes a Courts could reinvent the Western Mail!

Its been in Tabloid form since 1947, I think what you mean is Tabloid Journalism..

Reason being is the circulation/profit has collapsed , hardly anyone buys it anymore and advertising has dried up, the handful of people that pay for subscriptions are barely covering the cost of production, basically they are desperate.
