An interesting and a bit frightening article on the ABC about what GP's are being told from their College and the long term effects of the virus.

It suggests that the residual effects are going to create a portion of the population that will issues ranging from mild to quite severe heart, lung and neurological issues. This add to the burden on the health system that I am pretty sure no government is looking at and planning for!

If anyone thinks that closing up shop has not protected the population in WA thus far needs just to look at Europe, the Americas and even in our own backyard. I understand the economic consequences and I am disappointed in the way it is being now managed by McGowan with no long term or even short term plan on the table but he is in the position and I think from my observations that he is not doing anything for personal gain.

And now we have a report, albeit not peer reviewed that suggests the antibodies don't last very long which creates another issue for the vaccine.

According to Norman the Swan that may not be a biggy if the reinfections are close together (not sure what that means) and the white cells (t cells) have a memory and are able to combat the virus better the second or third time round.

The fact remains that the research is finding more new stuff as it goes along, bit scary!
