Whats the go with this constant call from Morrison for the States to open borders?

Is it some BS power play to distract from the aged care thing?

Latest figures show WA is the stand out economy doing far better than the other states all because we have controlled the border, I cannot thing of one good reason to rush to risk that.

As a NSW bloke SCO MO I don't think how he gets how independently minded WA and Qld people are, we wont be bullied by some clown in Canberra.

He wants to be careful because Qld and WA basically kept him in power last time around, pushing us on the border thing will back fire, and I cannot think of one single economic or political gain in doing it.


The border controls have huge support here from Labor and Libs voters alike.

But open borders wont happen here until the end of the year at best as thats how lkong it will take the Viccos to get the numbers down to single digits.

Laughed my tits off when the Fed labour shadow treasurer called it the Morrison recession!! He's obviously another sicktorian Covid denier and conveniently forgets that Victoria is a Labour controlled state, so it should be more correctly titled the labour Recession we didn't pharking need.

Apparently the agreement is WA and Qld can maintain controls, he must of read the room!

Sco-mo is under enormous pressure from big business who want the borders open.Particularly the two cash cows in Wa,Qld.Big business is so use to getting it's own way the last few decades.
We know when push comes to shove that the east coast .Would not care if Perth had the Melbourne outbreak. The Premier told the Pm today if Wa's Pilbara closed down for Covid.That's chequemate for all of Australia. And if east coast FIFO's miss there famlies ,move them over to Wa.As he believes they should spend there high incomes in Wa.

What a perfect scenario for the big S.
