The question has to be asked, how many are NOT doing their bit by refusing to put this app on their phone?

It was reported recently only about 6000 people have downloaded it but it's also easy to disable even if you have it on your phone.

If there was a way, I would force every Victorian to have the Covid Safe app on their phone and active. If the outbreak stretches Australia wide then force everyone to have it on their phone.

Make it so you can't get a signal to your network unless you have the Covid Safe app on your phone and active.

I think it's north of 6.5 million downloads last time i heard.

Why should anyone who doesn't want it be made to get it?.
Why dont flu injections be compulsory?

I just wonder why the federal government is not fixing the application?
Millions of taxpayers dollars spent on it, and the whole thing is now questionable.
Why are they not answering the many questions that need explanations.
Did I hear all the collected data is being stored by a US marketing company? If so, why?
What the hell does peoples info have to do with a company in the US? Is australia that stupid, we can't even store info here?

The data is stored in the cloud by Amazon Web Services and was assessed by the Australian Cyber Security Centre which is part of our spy agency Australian Signals Directorate. It does concern me that an American company won the contract but it's better than the Chinese I guess. I'm not sure why an Australian company couldn't do it...maybe we just don't have the capability.

Yep. I am guessing the capacity is just not there lcoally BC, I downloaded it day 1 and have no concerns, what amazed me were all the lefties that refused to download it just becuase it was SCO MOs idea...I reckon thats an issue in Vic as well, add in the protestors who would not have bothered and you get a picture of why we are having problems.
