Its seems that even school boy footy is more exposure organised and better promoted than the WAFL with live streams of every game now on the West.

They have been doing it since the season started 3 weeks back.

I wonder if the West will also do the same for the WAFL games not telecast each week for the League and also the Colts which is a higher standard of underage football???

I heard on the radio the PSA were filming all their games anyway and went to the West to see if they were interested, the West jumped on the idea as the coverage and articles in the paper has apparently boosted their subscriptions.

Well there's your problem right there. Too busy counting to 9 million.

Any broadcast of WAFL league ressies colts and womens is owned by CH 7, so they have the say on where and when a telecast can happen. The PSA is totally independent so they can do what they like, no comparison.

CH7 and the west are owned by the same person so what is the issue with streaming all WAFL games through the west website ?

It's got me stuffed why the West has jumped on board coz unless you've got a young bloke going to one of the schools who gives a toss?

The Eagles streamed all their WAFL games last year and is something the SANFL do, why the WAFL dont do it who knows

Yep it has got me beat why the WAFC do not do a deal with the West to stream all games as well although that would be proactively promoting the WAFL which it would seem for sometime is not on their agenda!

The Eagles did their teams WAFL games and were well viewed, I know I watched their replays of the games after we had played the Eagles WAFL team as they are still available to watch for the next week after.

Something to watch and tbh I think it extends a bit further than that, there is a massive Old Boys network that follow the results so would check it out, I know blokes in their 60s that follow their old school still and argue down the pub with other blokes from other schools.
