MyGov website still down, this really shouldn't happen, the virus has been known for over 4 months and the current situation must have been predicted once they saw what was happening in China and now Europe.

Will need to try late at night once the eastern staters have all given up and gone to bed.

SS at first there was a rumour that it had been hack which to me ranks up there with the Hawaii story, the fact as I understand it is that the need to access was the equivalent of what hackers do by overloading the system.

The sad thing is that neither the technology nor the physical sites will cope with this issue. It did not cope in the 70's when unemployment went from 2% to 10 in the space of a year, the old DSS office in murray street went from 120 staff to 300 in very quick time and that was ithe computer system abt the size of a commodore 64!

That thing has been a total pig ever since it was brought in.

I remember the ATO had its own website and them moved across to MY GOV.

Ever since then Ive found MY GOV a shit set up.

I've had no problems logging in this morning to pay my tax, of course they make sure that bit is working smoothly. Lol
