Fair dinkum we already have 1 near basket case of a side in WA adding a 3rd would make the Gold Coast Suns look like world beaters in comparison.
There just isnt anywhere near enough talent currently to fill their existing 18 teams let alone adding another 2 sides (90 players), in my honest opinion one or 2 of those perennially hopeless basket case Vic sides (NM, StK, Foots, Melb) should make way or merge beforehand to bring Tassie in not to mention Canberra and Darwin are better options in new growing ARF areas!

Yep...so can I....falling memberships, losing money hand over fist and another bottom 4 finish doesn't auger well for the club I'm sorry to say.

Fremantle are still a very strong and financially secure club. They have a big supporter base and one day when they start winning again they'll get crowds of 50 thousand and sell a heap of purple stuff. Its clubs like Gws who should be under the pump, they've been a top 8 team for a long time now and get crowds of, what, 11 thousand? Gold Coast get that many. Has it really been worth the millions upon millions upon millions of dollars spent?
