Absolutely gut wrenching seeing this play out. What is it with these young sheilas these days? Not happy with a partner who's raking in 3/4 of a million bucks a year? She can travel home whenever she damn well likes. FFS it's only a short part of your life sweetheart then you can go back to dreary cold wet and miserable Melbourne when he's hung up the boots.

I reckon this is going to end badly badly for Brad Hill down the track. He will cope ok while he's playing if that has to be in Melbourne but after he retires i reckon the pull to come home and get away from that miserable place will be very strong. I reckon he should put his foot down now.

Anyway i guess if it does happen i guess we can either stand our ground and say we are not releasing you from the last 2 years (or is it 3)? Or if we can work a deal that gets us Tim Kelly then we end up in a net position, the only difference being we lose probably the best outside mid in the comp but pick up one of the best inside mids.

Without knowing exactly what's going through his mind I guess he could be forgiven for missing playing for a club like Hawthorn and enjoying sustained success as opposed to playing for Freo who don't look like challenging for a flag any time soon. I'm pretty sure he could have played out his contract if he wanted to or even given it one more year which makes me think there's more to it than we're hearing or seeing. It's not ideal after losing Lachie Neale last year and the jungle drums currently suggesting brother Stephen could also be on the move as well as Ed Langdon...so maybe there's deep seated issues that are only known to those on the inside....or perhaps it is what it is...his missus wants out and we're all reading too much into it...who knows?

If he does go and it seems he will it is vital that they get a proven midfielder in return like Kelly. If they trade him for draft picks that leaves Freo with a midfield next year consisting of Fyfe and..... um... just Fyfe.

I don't rate him that highly. No ticker for the hard stuff. Kick not particularly efficient. Stephen has been good but calf and other soft tissues are gone. I wouldn't mind if both go.

Don’t know why any club would be looking at making a play for Stephen . He can’t even get on the park. Hasn’t played a lot of games with Brad.

This looks like a terrible loss for Freo.BH tank is amazing and never stops running. Not sure he's an A Grade player with his disposal by foot.But a strong B+ rating.Freo would want a draft consession between 15 to 25..
