Freo cop a bit of stick over the number of medium and smaller type players like Mellington, but I think they have a really good mix now with maybe one more bigger bodied player needed. They have a lot of pace and strength in the mid field
where everything starts, good ruck strength and a lot of bight around the goals.
They are in for a good year indeed.

Let's hope Freo have made the right choices. Tanner Smith as a KP player is what they needed, but overlooked local kids in Paparone & Shaw both quality KP players as well.

i agree JB, i think they will have a good year and they will be relying on there smalls to kick alot of goals for them.

Well i disagree as Freo's midfield is not quick at all, Barlow, Mundy, Fyfe & Crowley are not quick. Pav will need more help down forward & if he happens to get injured Freo are in strife.

With regards to me saying the midfield has pace and strength, I should elaborate by saying, Mundy, Barlow and Crowley are strong and Fyfe, Hill and Pearce are quicker. I think actually both Mundy and Fyfe are deceptively quick for thier size. I think the midfield is really taking shape now.
