When has he played in the ruck? He's played in the middle of the ground throughout his career and I read recently he played at CHB and I think won an All Australian in the u/18's. Ross is just recognising his many talents and the fact we've got a lot of versatility now in the ruck and key positions. Obviously losing Lachie Neale was a big loss and Connor Blakely and Stephen Hill haven't been available.

And there's a good chance Hamling won't play against the Giants this weekend so Darcy will most likely come in to go against the bigger bodied Mumford or we can bring Cox in to pinch hit in the ruck with Lobb and play down back. Lots of options available.

What happened to your opening post Swansman? You started the topic. Are you backing away from it now?

DD remember Chris Tarrant from Collingwood. Went to Freo as a fwd but made his name at Freo as a defender. I like the Hogan move keeping him more in the play.

Play him at full forward

Every chance he will Tiger now Darcy has been left out leaving Lobb to do the bulk of the ruck work leaving most likely Taberner in support. Sooner or later he has to back Hogan in to find his form up front. I don't mind they have played him in the middle it's given him a chance to build his fitness and get into the games. Hamling has been declared fit to play.
