However, I still believe the kid should get at least 3 weeks. No one will convince me that when you tackle a person like this and sling him head first into the ground that you are not trying to hurt him,,,of course you are!!! You know EXACTLY what you are doing and what the outcome will be.

While not speaking directly to this particular incident how often do we see a player tackle and does a 360 or more and yet the umpire won't blow the whistle. Under those circumstances what is the tackling player supposed to do? I can recall an incident at Basso a couple of years ago where Ricky Cary tackled a player and in the process of tackling they did a 720. At that stage he decided the only thing he then do is sling the player to the ground. He got I think 2 weeks.

I still think they have played favourites in similar tackles previous. The Dangerfield was as bad.And there is one more that escapes me just not, but from memory got a week.

Don't forget that the tribunal takes into account outcome of the tackle. From memory Kruezer basically was okay, whereas The Port player was knocked out.

I reckon if the player had got up and kept playing Nyuis would of only got a week.

Not saying that this is the right way to assess these things, but I believe that's what the tribunal does.

Actually Kruezer wasn't ok he took no further part in the game and I'm not totally sure but I think he missed the next week. The Port player is listed as test for this week.
