Both have given great service tot he club and praise from the supporters of the club.
Johnson has played 239 games in the clubs colours. He has been a solid player since earning his stripes fromthe club.A player who gave his all under all circumstances. He was a versatile player, playing forward, back, ruck and more than likely a few more positions.
I remember the first time I saw him in the Purple, it was a scratch match against Adelaide at Subi. I asked my daughter, who is the fat arsed guy playing FF?Oh how far he has come since then.Well played Michael. Thanks for the great service you have given the club over your career. So many of the young fellas would have learnt so much from you. Great mentor to not only the Aboriginal boys a mentor to all who played along side you.
Danyle Pearce, recruited from Port Adelaide in 2013. He has played 101 games int he Purple. He played 154 games for Port from 2005 to 2013. A versatile player who, like Johnson, played many roles for the club .Forward, back, mid fielder, wingman, on baller.A much maligned player at times , and bore the brunt of many dismal performances from the side. But a player who gave his all every game.He had his contract extended this year and knew he was not going to play many games, but was going to be used as a mentor to the younger players of the squad. He has preformed that role wonderfully well. A selfless payer who more than likely gave more than he took from the club.
Well played DP. Thank you for your service to the club.
Two players who deserve full commendations from the club.
A game to send them off!!! who knows, but for what it is worth , I think they both deserve it.Our last game of the season is against Collingwood at home. so why not give them the chance to be applauded by the Fremantle faithful?
Great tribute to both AM, well done. What better way to send them out by upsetting Collingwood and perhaps sending them a rung or two down the ladder.
