Yes looks like the rebuild is starting to kick in. Still a long way to go, think we may battle to win against Carlton as the travelling part is always the hardest part of the jigsaw but early signs are good. Freo will have to put a lot of work into retaining Cerra and Langdon, they are both all class. Can't help but notice the silence from Fanta Pants and Hackdorn of late.

I think that they must also be very aggressive in recruiting someone like McGovern (maybe both) they will have to pay overs to get someone good but they should have room with Sandi, Johnson, Pearce and Ballas gone. Haven't been too successfull in this area before and will have to work really hard at it.

Heard the rumour about McGov going to Sydney too. As for Tippett, why would Freo, or anyone for that matter draft him? His use by date is past.

Tippett retired before the season started and McGovern wants to stay in WA. I think he is way overpriced at 1.3 mil per year but Freo will need to pay over odds to get that sort of player.
