I'm not a Docker supporter but I would have thought with Sandilands age and possible injuries added with the delisting of Clarke and Griffen that Hayes would be your obvious pick.
That's who I'd pick if I was Freo.

Naughton by a mile. Wouldnt hesitate in taking him, I think he will go earlier than people think.

For me I would be taking either Oscar Allen or Aaron Naughton.

Not that it would make much difference as Ross seems to rate the Eastern States players more highly than he does the WA boys.

Also I think you can still find decent ruckman at a later pick or at least try and trade for one at the end of next season or look for the best ruckman aged 24 and under in the state leagues.

I don't know too much about Hayes but was very impressed with Naughton when Subi played Peel down at Centrelink Park late in the season. His intercept marking and decision making was exceptional. The problem could be that Freo have a few options in the tall back department with Luke Ryan, Hamlin, possibly Alex Pearce, Michael Johnson and so on but only really have Sandi and Darcy in the ruck area...so wouldn't surprise me at all if they went for Hayes as he can go forward as well.

Good to have two picks in the top 5.

If Billy Hartung and Trent McKenzie are delisted I think both of them could be worth a look at as well to sign as delisted free agents.

None of the above it's a midfielders draft, and the top 5 rated picks are all midfielders and I reckon Freo will use pick 2 and 5 on mids.

The best rated fwd is Brander who Freo might look at for pick 5

Probably right Peter, I would take a mid at 2 and Naughton at 5. I know he will probably go later than that but I think he will develope into a very good back or forward and hes West Aussie.
