Nah Bond has said AP will be ready to go for preseason training , lol Joel Hamling is taller than Rance and did a good job on the key forwards this year , Logie also played as key back , Cox and Hughes are capable as well , Collins was delisted as well which tells me the club thinks they have enough to work with in the back half.

Add to all that list manager Brad Lloyd has stated pick 2 and 5 will be mids, Naughton ain't a low first round pick ..

With regards Naughton I think you are right, although I would like to see him picked up, they will go for mids, hopefully bigger bodied ones that can move forward. Good position for the club to be in.

Taller than Rance maybe but at 90kg quite light for a key defender
