Interesting reading Brandon Matera is out of contract and strongly rumoured to be interested in a move home with WC ruling out interest if you can believe what is written. With Ross Lyon backing in Ballantyne to go around again that would free up Sonny Walters to play as a permanent mid. That's a mouth watering scenario. But I can't imagine WC not showing interest. They are crying out for a small crumbing forward.

West Coast have Karpany and Rioli who they would want to develop first I reckon.

Matera and Ballantyne both average similar stats the only difference being that we should get 5-6 seasons out of Brandon were as Hayden is at the end of his career. The only think that worries me a little is Brandon has had some injury concerns at the Gold Coast.

I know he is out of contract but I don't think he's a free agent so what would he cost.

Could be a good piece of business as you say DD he would allow Walters to play more midfield.

I'd like to see Fyfe spend more time forward as well.

BM is a very classy left foot forward player and should be looked at very seriously.

I think you could play them both as small forwards TBH.

Walters to the midfield.
McCarthy to HF.
Taberner to FF.
Fyfe CHF.
Kersten to Peel.

Taberner to CHF. He needs to run around and get involved in the game.
