I'm sure both teams would be shaking their heads after that one A/M, Richmond would be wondering how they could lose after hitting the front with 20 seconds to go. Freo would be perplexed as to how they had to kick the winning goal after the siren when they were 5 goals in front at 3 quarter time.

Ice cool finish by Mundy, didn't he do the same thing to Richmond a few years back. The funny thing was that Lyon didn't even see Mundy's kick as he stormed out of the coaches box when the Tigers hit the front and I reckon he would have only found out the result when the Freo song started playing!

Terrible last quarter by Freo. Glad to get the four points though but we can't afford to allow teams to get a run on against us like Richmond did late in the game.

At this stage of the season though it's about banking the four points with plenty of time to sort things out.

Ironically it was probably our first last qtr take away from the centre bounce that produced the winning goal. We got absolutely slaughtered in the centre breaks in that last qtr. Don't know why Sandi keeps knocking it down to a bloke under his armpit, Fyfe always gets gang tackled and the opposition extract it from there.

Watch Footy Classified and Talking Footy this game might get ten minutes coverage but 8 and a half of it will be about Richmond. If Richmond had of won the game it would get 15 to 20 minutes air time.

Freo looked really good for the first 3 quarters and should have put it to bed by 3/4 time, however they are very much a work in progress and anyone who thought Lyon couldn't start a team from scratch are dead wrong. They are ahead of where I thought they would be and I now think they can make the top 8. Not saying they will but they are an even money chance now.
