DD wrote: What can I say but a ridiculous comment from you TFAF. One player I had my doubts about has really turned a corner, Connor Blakely. He's an inside animal and just what Ross Lyon would be looking for from his younger brigade going forward. Helps spread the load and makes it tougher for the opposition to shut our midfield down.

Also Matt Taberner, by far his best game of AFL footy. Hopefully he can bring that every week and a three pronged attack with Tabs, Kersten and McCarthy provides plenty of options.

Also another master-stroke from Ross Lyon. Walters was going through the flattest form of his career. Threw him in the middle to find the footy and had an outstanding game.

Still pinching myself how we got Brad Hill so cheap. All the recruits are giving us exactly what we would have hoped for.

Why would you have had doubts on Connor Blakely DD?
He was an inside monster in the SD League side as a 17yo!
Also was B.O.G for Peelmantle in last years WAFL GF.

I couldn't care less what they do playing for Peel TBH BH, just seemed to me his disposal was lacking polish and didn't strike me as a player who could hurt the opposition but he looks a different player in the last month, maybe Ross wielding the axe he might have felt under pressure to up his game to keep his spot. Looks like he is relishing his new role and linking up really well. Great to see.

I saw something in Lachie Neale in his WAFL games at Swans. At the time I was saying they should pick this kid he can play. Now he's a bona fide A grader and onfield leader and very good in the media. If Fyfe was to leave Freo Lachie Neale would be my pick as captain.
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

In regards to TFAFs post, I am afraid there are those who would still love to see Fremantle being the easy beats and not going forward.I am not sure that TFAF isn't pot stirring here though.I wonder if he has watched any Dockers games.
There is a family who sit around where I sit at Subi and fair dinkum, you would almost think that they weren't Freo supporters at all.
Any player in the Purple makes a mistake, you would think they had committed murder.Even Fyfe,Neale, Mundy Sandi etc cop it.It drives me nuts as it does to most around the area.

Whereabouts is that anchor?
