Fremantle get the Easter choccies what a game what a win after being almost down and out late in the second quarter by 27 points before Lachie Neale gets a late one after the half time siren. Then a superb 3rd qtr to turn the margin 21 points in our favour at 3 qtr time.

I knew Melbourne would come hard on the last qtr and it was hearts in the mouth stuff. When Melbourne hit the front late by 3 points I thought we were gone but the boys stepped up and stole it. Well done boys, a bright future ahead of you.

Yep changes the whole perspective of the season for Freo. If they can beat the Kangaroos next week, they will go into the Derby at 3-2 and with a lot of confidence. One thing that has struck me in the last few week is how much David Mundy has lifted his rating.

I just watched the replay of the 2nd half this morning whilst waiting for ma lady to return from church. Completely agree with you on Huddo's calling Anchor. At one stage he was talking about Freo kicking seven straight 30 secs after they'd kicked a point then had one rushed...even as a neutral I find him annoying, irritating, unlistenable!!!

The new recruits are having an impact.The young players are having a red hot go.Really impressed with Brad Hill which has given Mundy the opportunity to go fwd.

Its amazing what a bit of youthful energy can do. If they beat North this week, it will be a pretty good start to a season that looked bleak after the first two games. Regarding Harley, I think some people are being a bit harsh on the boy. He has missed a lot of football and is probably coming to the realisation that his career is almost over. What he did was at the lower end of the scale, he didnt cause any major incident and by all accounts left the plane freely. A good solid start to the season now.

Whilst I am no fan of Freo's involvement in the host club alignment in the WAFL it is an absurdity that critics (like Whatley and other Victorians and also people like Peter Bell) made the outrageous comments after 2 rounds. Of course Ross Lyon needed to give the older players who were left at Freo were given a chance in the first couple of rounds. It obviously didn't work and he made changes as a consequence. With respect to Bennell totally agree with your comments. In the schema of players' bad behaviour in the AFL and NRL, it is most certainly by no means close to the worst behaviour by some AFL/NRL players.
