I would be very surprised if he leaves A/M. If another club offered him the captaincy I guess he would consider it, but the lure of potentially being Freo's first premiership captain sometime in the next 5 -6 years would be pretty strong I imagine.

Hawthorn have cleaned out & will offer $1.5m (or more)over 5 years. Will stretch Fremantles salary cap if they match.

I think LS has a very good point - could go that way. However, apart from money, can't see why he would want to move. He got what he wanted - good dough, captaincy and a realistic shot at a flag in the near future. All he now needs is a home loving West Aussie girl who says no to any move and it's all over red rover

I know its only their first game, but geez they were sh!t. If they have a repeat of 2016, end up on the bottom, sandi & johnson retire. How does he justify staying?

Looking at Johno's game it might of been better if he left last year.

Still early, plenty of room to improve for them.

But tbh take Fyfe out of that game and the dockers had very little to offer.

Him staying is not just critical for the dockers its pretty much a lifeline for the foreseeable future, I reckon they will throw tonnes of cash at him.
