I think you are right Grassy, I'm sure thats the way it will go. Mundy is a deserving captain and Fyfe the heir apparent.

Given they finished 16th in 2016 from memory and recent events involving individuals not living up to core standards all suggests to me that a minor cultural adjustment amongst the playing group is required. The best place to start is the leadership team and for mine, Fyfe demands excellence, leads by example and is a natural choice...Mundy appears to be a nice guy and I'm sure would do a good job but I think Freo needs a bit of mongrel to pull a few in line...and playing peers are generally very effective in that role.

There is clearly some issues around some players and fyfe. Coming off last season and the current public issues they have with players they can ill afford to have another incident around the selection of captaincy.

The players select the captain by voting, Mundy will probably get another season in my opinion and Fyfe the following year. Fyfe will be a great captain because he is a hard task master. Clearly some issues between Fyfe and the players?? all the inuendo about Fyfe and the players is just that, nothing has been shown to back it up at all. Freo will have a much improved season and be back on track.
