So how does it work from here? If anyone picks them up in the PSD we get stuff all? I think Sylvagni should be retained but sadly for him probably as back up status again but with Michael Johnson being so vulnerable to injury these days he might find himself getting more games that usual.

There was some discussion in the media about Adelaide maybe picking Barlow up in the pre season draft as an experienced midfielder to make up somewhat for their failure to land Gibbs. To be honest I would keep Silvagni over Dawson if it was a choice because I think his disposal skills are better, but I think Zac is a protected species with Lyon.
