Yarran can play no doubt about it. Strong hands and a booming kick and accurate. Will be a great story if he can have a big impact really make a spot for himself in the side. He and Taberner could form a dangerous duo moving forward and throw McCartney into the mix.

After seeing him on tv I was surprised just what an affect being a fulltime footballer has made on his physique. He seems to have bulked up big time and hopefully takes advantage of the chance he's been given big time. I spoke to him after a Subi game last year and was really impressed with the way he spoke and how genuine he appears. He seems like a really nice bloke.

After a slow start he showed glimpses of what he's capable of. Nearly took a couple of speckies but for me his kicking skills are the highlight. His first kick was under pressure but had penetration and effortlessly traveled 60 meters. Then he cooly slotted through a nice goal most would struggle with. Hopefully he remains injury free and gets a good run at it.

It's METRES in Australia. He'd get a broken foot kicking 60 meters.
