Great news for the Dockers with Lachie signing for another 3 years. Potential future leader at the club. Now they need to focus on drafting a key forward to replace Pav

Yes really good news he is a class player and was pretty good again last night. The priority obviously now is a key forward and that has proved to be very difficult to date.
McCarthy may be ok but I wouldnt class him as a big key forward. The rest of the squad, when everyone returns, looks ok.

Another wonderful example of the quality sports journalism in this state. How many journalists who said that Neale was leaving Freo will pen an article apologising for their incompetence?

That article seems completely pointless, its just confirming the contract has been agreed on but he just says he hasn't signed on the dotted line as yet. Maybe his manager should have kept him more in the loop. Probably a classic example of the "quality sports journalism" that Swan 42 was talking about

I'm just wondering if Swan42 and yourself will be demanding written apologies from all the reporters who clearly stated in headlines and stories that he had RE SIGNED , when it now appears he had not signed a single document.

If your demanding reporters get things right , you cant pick and chose!
