Weather forecast looks terrible. Will be hard on the young guys who aren't used to this type of weather and playing on the MCG for the first time. Great experience however and will be interesting to see if guys like Blakely and co can maintain their recent form.
I must admit I'm a little surprised by Hannaths inclusion considering the weather when you have Langdon who kicked 5 goals in similar weather last week for Peel as an emergency. I would have though pace was more important than size tonight.
Anyway, looking forward to the game, think Collingwood will win, but I would love to be surprised.

Haven't been able to watch Freo's last 3 wins and thought they're in with a huge chance to beat a Collingwood side I watched last time against PA who tore them a new one...and deary, deary me - Freo are terrible!!!
Very long way off with that side Im afraid. Backline of - King of fuckups Dawson, Mr unsure of myself Sutcliffe, think I can play, well everyone tells me I can Spurr, Mr turnover Sheridan, Pearce I sleep with light all who are just not up to it!!! Don't get me started on some others like Clarke who honestly are clearly not good enough!!!

Agree with Clarke, a few years ago I thought he could be anything but he has been really disappointing and Hannath is just not up to AFL standard. Still think the young guys are going well although Weller was off tonight. Blakely continues to grow. Still not sure why Langdon didnt play. Pearce, well never been a fan of his but he's here for another two years
he's definately a front runner and we aint front running this year.

In 2014 Blakely was one of the reasons why Swans made the finals against all predictions. He was one of the 'young guns' who inspired the experienced players of Swans to greater heights and the mix worked perfectly. You could tell even then that he was destined for the AFL. Given a good run with injuries Conor has the potential to be a 200 game player for the Dockers

TBH Mike, unless freo gets rid of the spuds like Pearce, Dawson and co, you and I could clock up 200 games.
As for Colli, surely they're going to try to offload Cloke and White. 2 huge strong men, but are pretty well hopeless.

Too many players that just didn't give a shit tonight, just didn't care & went thru the motions.. The pies are terrible & Freo are horrible.. That was an embarrassment. 16 players played in the pre lim last year apparently from that side...
