Once again our kicking let us down, especially our kicking for goal.Abysmal. So many easy shot that should have been full pointers.
I thought Stephen Hill was our best , along with Barlow. Both performed well all day.Neale and Walters also chimed in with good performances.
The younger and newer generation did well also.Though not setting the world on fire, I thought all did enough to maintain their spots in the side next week.
I thought of the group, Alex Pearce was the most out standing. He kept Walker goalless, and that is no mean feat.
Lachie Weller is looking more and more comfortable in the side every week. Some of his kicking was superb.
Was good to see Mundy back and firing. Especially early and later in the game.He faded a bit during the mid quarters. But will be much better for the run.

Yeah mate they are getting better every week, the rebuild is on there will be some short term pain I can handle that as long as they keep getting games into the youth.

Re: Neale, I thought he was very good but thought some of his disposals could have been more effective. Overall it is getting better and I am enjoying watching the younger guys coming into the side, there will be a few more yet. Looking forward to going to the game this week, should be a good contest.

There has been some speculation around that Lachie Neale may not be at the Dockers next season. I heard it first on a Melbourne footy show when a guy called Damien Barrett mentioned it. Also I noticed that he has put off contract talks till mid season. Does anyone know any more? Would be concerned if he was thinking of leaving as he is developing into an elite player and one the Dockers cant afford to lose in a rebuild.

Heard a grab this arvo from 6IX this morning. Lachie Neale was on the show. Took a sheila (Maddie I think) to show some balls and come straight out and ask him. Do you want to go back home and play for Adelaide next year? Lachie Neale's response was an emphatic no I don't. Then Goss danced around it the bullshit way and got the same response. Hopefully Lachie is a man of his word.

He may have been speaking truthfully about Adelaide but he could be getting interest from clubs in Melbourne as well and that is why he may have postponed the contract talks
