I thought Freo were better today apart from some terrible shots on goal. Alex Pearce is starting to develope now and Tabener is starting to hold his ground a bit better than he has. They need to let him play for the rest of the season and make an evaluation then.Blakely, though not prominent, showed he has the will to compete, he will only get better as Weller has. Generally the young guys were good. Peel had goals today from Yarran and Ubbergang amongst others which is incouraging, so we should see plenty of new faces tried in the forward line for the rest of the year.

Expected to lose by more tbh, probably the better side in the 1st half I knew at some point those misses were to going to come back to haunt us.

I thought Walters was easily our best followed by A.Pearce, Hill and Barlow, Pav kicked 1.4 could of easily had a bag at 34 still our best forward and still moving well as we saw by that mark he took in the first quarter.

Had a close look at McGovern, did nothing till he kicked a goal in the last quarter, for someone that's played six games theres a lot of circle jerking going on about him.

Gws look ok but have been flogged every trip to Subi so far, ill be still tipping Freo to beat them.

I guess we'll see GWS got the Hawks at the right time 3 close hard fought wins takes its toll and I don't think Clarko would be happy with the bruise free footy Hawthorn played, fancy me tipping the team I support, anything to add to the op or just felt like having a snipe didn't take long for this to happen.

It will be pretty close Im thinking. Hawks have been beaten twice by fair margins, its a very even comp this year and any team can beat anyone on a given day. Must admit that GWS were very impressive and it won't be long now till they are just about unbeatable due to the talent pool they have been given. Freo are a chance.

Hope you guys are right but I find myself wondering who is going to kick the goals that will give them the win. I know they should have kicked more than 8 today but they will need to score at least 100 points to have a chance of beating GWS who have a potent forward line and a confident midfield.

Err maybe its cos Gold Coast had a gazillion of thier best players out. Freo have got thier best players out, GWS are a brute of a team with a gazzillion first round picks. Freo wont get with 20 points of em.
