But with such a bad loss does Lyon make a lot of changes?
My guess is no.He will bring in Sandilans for Griffen.Bring in Johnson, providing his calf is healed.
We will see Alex Pearce come into the side.I would love to see Sam Collins get berth as well, but can't see Lyon making to o big back line changes. We may have to wait another week before he dons the Imperial Purple.
I am not confident that he will give either Blakely or Langdon a game this week either.
Only changes will be those that had to happen.

Sorry Anchor watch it and then comment. It looks really bad, really ban
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

But last night we were stitched up again. The Suns were just too quick for us.Their skills were better and they performed better under pressure.
Every time we looked like dragging our selves back into the game, they responded with goals. They mostly came form our skill errors.
I thought we played much better after half time when Lyon shifted Hill into the centre bounce downs and ran him on the ball.He was far more productive in the second half than all the mids had been all game.
And again I ask the question, did we not look better with Fyfe in the forward line than on the ball.He brought us back into the game with three 3rd quarter goals from play forward.Yes I know just how good he is and how many possessions he gets as a mid,but he is always under pressure around stoppages. His disposals are not good. They force him into handballing under pressure and then we turn the ball over.
We certainly have some work to do to be competitive next week against the Old Foe.But they were mercilessly assaulted today by the Hawks. They had some who took backward steps as per the GF last year.We need to apply the same or similar pressure that the Hawks did today.

An interesting game to come next week.

As I said on another thread AM,I think the Dockers have thrown the old defensive Lyon game plan out the window this year and the players are struggling to adapt to the new one which is obviously based on a more attacking style. They will get better as the season goes on but they desperately need more leg speed. Maybe time to blood a few of the youngsters like Conor Blakely and even Darcy Tucker who impressed me up at Bassendean yesterday. Langdon worth some more games too I think.

Yes I was keeping an eye out and most of them played pretty well although to be honest Swans only provided limited opposition for all but the first quarter. I was surprised how poorly guys like Tabernar, Hannath, Grey and Mzungu kicked their set shots for goal, they missed some absolute sodas. Taberner seemed to lack a bit of confidence but seemed to work into the game as his supply improved in the 2nd half. Griffin and Hannath dominated in the ruck but they were up against a 2nd gamer and a few support big men. As I have said before Hannath needs to be given some AFL games this year to see if he is going to make the grade. Ethan Hughes might be worth a look, he was part of a very solid defence. Blakely was injured so he didn't play. Darcy Tucker is a good un,maybe not quite ready. Uebergang was good as you said. Kept an eye out for Collins, took a few marks but he didn't have an awful lot to do as Swans were not in attack much. Crozier was reasonable and may get a recall soon
