Would he not become a free agent at the end of his contract?

Would anyone pick him up in the draft if thats what GWS do, knowing he probably wont play for that team, unless its Freo or maybe West Coast. I think it will run its course and he will be at Freo next year, be surprised if thats not the case.

lol make him sit out next year as well, I doubt they are going to pay his wages two years in a row sitting out of footy, the deal will be done with Freo very early in trade week, probably for next years second rounder GWS trying to make a stand has probably cost them two first round picks and his wages for this year.

Like I said I work with a very close relative of his, his family are Freo supporters and Cam only wants to play at Freo.

Why do you care you don't rate the guy anyway, apparently he's not a key fiorward even though he's the same height as Pav ,who has played as a key forward pretty much his whole career get a clue eh.

Isn't that manipulation of the draft. Last person who try that was Nathan Buckley who wanted to go to Collingwood. He went to Brisbane first. Cam could do the same but at Essendon. The only people who go into the draft knowing where they will end up are "father & son" players..

Dont think GWS would give a rats toss bag about first round picks anyway, they have had 488 first round picks since inception. If a player REALLY wants to go to another club "generally" they get their wish in the end. ( Dangerfield SSelwood Henderson and Smith, all wanted to go to the cats, all ended up there)

Yep and Chad Winguard flat out told GWS he'll sit out footy for a year if they draft him, with three 1st rounders in next years draft they need to move on players it will get done.
