it just puts more importance on the midfield contests...if we win through the middle of ground then we restrict the opportunities of Franklin, Tippett and the swan diving Australian of the Year....so personnel in the back six becomes less important. In saying that, I'd love to have Johnson and MacPharlane on the park but we don't so Freo must look at other ways to negate the impact of Sydney's big forwards.

It's going to be raining till Sunday in Sydney I don't think the key forwards will be causing to much havoc tbh the ground will be a mud heap, small forwards could well decide this one.

yep...dead right bazza. sydney will be wanting to win the midfield battle for exactly the same reason...to restrict supply to walters, ballas, the pav, mayne etc.
