I hope Max Duffy goes well. Certainly not easing him into AFL football against Geelong at GEELONG in what is a huge game with high stakes. He might be the type of player we've been missing, a medium forward who knows where the goals are and has a few tricks. Was a standout in the AIS academy as a 16 yr old I believe. I wish him all the best. Hopefully he can play a hand in a few goals and maybe get on the end of a 1 or 2 himself.

I always enjoy seeing a debutant take the field. Hopefully he can mix it with the big boys and has a decent game.
Huge task ahead of him playing against the Cats at Skilled!

Great debut by Max. Must rate as one of the best debuts in the AFL. Hopefully his body holds up too AFLl. Plenty of excitement to look forward to with Mora and Walters to come back in but we are vulnerable down back and I fear we may have seen the last game from Luke McPharlin. I don't think Ross Lyon can risk playing Luke again even if he gets over the latest set back.

He has to bring Sylvagni in and stick with him. If we are any chance in September we also need a fit Mzungu and Ibbitson. Crozier also played his best game for the club and looks to me like he's grown and inch or two and filled out. If only we could find a couple of key position players to show some promise.

Max Duffy replaces Luke McPharlin in the third quarter - finished the game with 5 kicks and 3 handpasses. I know goals do not come easy for the dockers so his 2 goals would be very welcome but are you not getting a little carried away?

Really JT - are you using the Eagles' as the yardstick?

Daniel Metropolis on debut for the Eagles,first 4 kicks resulted in 4 goals and he ended up with 6 goals for the game on debut.
Thats not a bad debut.

Yep, started in a blaze of glory, all down hill from there for Metro. Downhill skier. Who knows what Max would have finished with if he played a whole game?

Yep,i was only commenting on his debut,6 goals is certainly worth a mention.

Great debut by the Duffman. Only problem is he didn't antagonize or confront the opposition like some of his team mates. Is this the NEW gameplan?
